Joan Rutledge Rutledge Burns

Mrs. Burns was born May 13, 1949, in Bartow County, Georgia; daughter of Willene Hill Rutledge and the late Walton Dillard Rutledge. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Dewight Burns, her father; Walton Dillard Rutledge and by a sister; Renea Rutledge.

Survivors include her children; Kimberly & Todd Chester , Kevin & Christy Burns; grandchildren; Abby Chester, Claire Chester, Haley Burns, Emma Burns; her mother; Willene Rutledge; brother & sisters; Joyce & Ray Roebuck, Jimmy & Elizabeth Rutledge, Roger & Donna Rutledge, Becky & Todd Bechtel; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning July 10th at 11:00 A.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Surratt officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include Brandon Rutledge, Christopher Rutledge, Johnathan Rutledge, David Chatman, Steve McKinney and Matt Wilson.
