I am way late to seeing this, but I feel the need to share. She and her husband would come eat at Appalachian Grill when I served there. She was ALWAYS so sweet as a guest. And I loved waiting on them. Life is so precious and her kindness is still remembered by me, a stranger. Sending love.

My beautiful twin sister 💗Joan 💗 was not just beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well where it really counts.  
Such a loving, caring, and sweet Christian, wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loves her Jesus and her family with all her heart and even then some and oh my goodness what a big heart Joan has. Always there to lend a helping hand, a shoulder, a prayer, whatever she could do or say to encourage and comfort others, assuring them that they are loved and cared for. 
As far back as I can remember Joan has loved the Lord and proudly shared His love with everyone else. 

She is wrapped in the arms of Jesus now. Safe and sound, happy and whole.
Our minds cannot comprehend the overwhelming peace, love, and joy she feels right now but just knowing it brings us comfort. Thank you sweet Holy Spirit for that blessed assurance.

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Joan.  She was a beautiful loving Christian lady who I had just begun a friendship with since last year and will miss her.  I’m praying for comfort for each of you in her family and sending hugs.

My dear sister Joan, I am at a loss for words to express my heartache of losing you.  I don't think our family will ever feel completely whole again without you in it.  We sisters have always been so close and it is gonna be so hard you not answering our calls and texts we all shared. It is hard to accept that you are gone. I thank our Lord Jesus Christ that he has given me comfort in knowing without a shadow of a doubt, that he has his loving arms wrapped around you. Rest in peace my sweet sister and know how much you were loved here on earth by many. I will cherish all the wonderful memories of you and how you made such an impact on countless people that crossed paths with you sharing your faith. You are gone from this earth, but you will be in our hearts forever. Love you and I will see you in heaven one day. ❤❤

Al, just heard about Joan. Teresa and I are so sorry. May God bless you and your family during this time of morning. You and Joan were always a blessing to us. 

I just saw Joan a few weeks back. Very happy to see me and me her as well. My prayers goes out to her husband, children, siblings her Mother and all of the nieces and nephews. Much LOVE and HUGGS to ALL of YOU!!! R.I.P. Joan see you on the other side.
