John Allen Baker

John was a graduate of Cartersville High School and attended Reinhardt University. He is a Vietnam Veteran and a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason.

John is preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Baker; niece, Alicia Waits. He is survived by his sister, Patricia (Charles) Waits; nieces, Jennifer Morris, Hannah (Cody) Leggett; nephews, David (Harriet) Baker, Steven (Stacie) Waits, Blake Waits, Brett Baker, Sean Baker, several great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. The interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Masonic and Military Rites. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
