

John E. Rodriguez, age 63 of Adairsville GA passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. John was born on March 27, 1959, in Eagle Pass, Texas, son of Frank Rodriguez and Rafaela Lopez Rodriguez. John grew up in Wisconsin where he had many friends that he remained close to for the rest of his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
John moved to GA in 1993 where he started new employment and built a home that he would enjoy with is wife Christine. He enjoyed being at home spending time with family, friends, and his German shepherds; Greta and Elke. He was proud of his shop where he enjoyed hosting celebrations with friends; his favorite being the ‘Pirate’s Ball’. In Georgia John made many friends who shared in his interests of music, motorcycles, and target shooting. He carried the nickname, ‘Rotten’ throughout his life. John was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan who loved going to their games. Some of his favorite places to visit were his home town in Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, Graceland and the Jack Daniels Distillery where he was a proud member of the Tennessee Squires. John also enjoyed being a member of the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville GA. The past few years he rode to bike events in Sturgis, Daytona Beach, Panama City and Laconia, NH. He enjoyed collecting antique toys, records albums and western memorabilia.
John is preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Rodriguez; sister, Brenda Rodriguez Wollenberg; nephew, Mark Kramer; niece, Cassondra Gresl. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Christine Rodriguez; parents, Frank and Rafaela Rodriquez; sisters, Barbara Rodriguez Sorensen, Maria (Ed) Vargas and Laura (Jim) Vargas Koelsch; brothers, Humberto (Christa) Vargas and Jamie Vargas; Also surviving; a host of cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved German Shepherds.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2022 in "The Shop" of the Rodriguez home from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
