Juanita W. Hamilton

Mrs. Hamilton was born October 31, 1921 in Blue Ridge, Georgia, the daughter of the late, Ed and May (Sluder) Watkins. During her life she was a U.S. Army-Air Force Veteran, having served during World War II, a Beautician, an LPN, a homemaker and a member of Emerson Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin Price (Sporty) Hamilton and sisters, Vannie, Bernice and Katherine.

Surviving are her sons, Eddie and Elaine Hamilton of Cartersville, Ralph and Mary Jane Hamilton of Taylorsville, two grandchildren, Mark Hamilton of Rydal, Benjamin Lowe of Taylorsville, great-grandchildren, Hudson Price Hamilton, Easton William Hamilton and Katie Lowe and a number of nieces and nephews and special friends, Brenda Radford and Wanda Smith.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Lee and Scott Templeton officiating.

Burial will follow in Emerson Cemetery with Military Rites.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 500-8:00 p.m

Pallbearers will be Lamar Pendley, Carroll Hamilton, Lowry Hamilton, Dean Brown, Mark Hamilton and Ben Lowe.
