Larry Dean Vaughn

Larry enjoyed spending his time playing billiards and softball, but most of all had a passion for automobiles. Larry was also a family man and valued his time he had with his children and grandchildren. He was known to them as “Papa” and enjoyed every moment they shared. On September 1, 1972 he married the love of his life, Bernice and they remained married for the following forty-nine years before her passing.

Larry is preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Miller.

He is survived by sons, Richard (Staci) Vaughn and Travis (Joellen) Vaughn; sisters, Mary Ellen Vaughn and Sandra Robertson; brothers, Ed (Cathy) Vaughn and Jerry Vaughn; grandchildren, Tyler (Ashlee) Vaughn, Will Vaughn, Jacob Vaughn, and Emma Grace Vaughn; great grandchildren, Kylie Grace Vaughn and Aubree Vaughn; and extended family members and friends to cherish his memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home. Friends are cordially invited for visitation from 12:00pm and 2:00pm, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
