Lee Etta Reece

Mrs. Lee Etta Reece, 103, of Pine Log, GA passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Lee Etta was born April 23, 1914 to the late Rev M.L. Lacey and Mrs. Artie Lou Bailey Lacey in Holly Springs, GA.

Mrs. Reece loved life, her family and friends. Mrs. Reece loved to garden, taking care of those she loved, and cooking for those close to her.

Mrs. Reece is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Mr. Brown Reece, her parents, and nine siblings.

She is survived by son, Kenny Reece (Kathy), daughter, Wanda Strickland (W.A.), grandchildren; Rebekah Strickland, Kelsey Reece and Brenda Reece.

Funeral service for Mrs. Reece will be conducted Saturday, January 20, 2018 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dave Stewart will be officiating. Serving as pall bearers will be: Freddy and Jason Amerson, Mitchell Scoggins, Sonny Earwood, Timmy Willis and Hugh Lee Smith.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 from four until six in the evening at Owen Funeral Home.
