Lillie Jordan Bruce

Mrs. Jordan-Bruce was born March 29, 1927 in Cherokee County, a daughter of the late William Oliver and Martha Ann Chastain Oliver. She was a homemaker and loved cooking, her family and her cat.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew Jordan and her second husband, George Bruce, she is survived by her daughters, Beatrice Martin, of Acworth, Willie Mae Wilbanks, of Dahlonega, Velvet Strode, of Iowa and Vickie Turner, of Tennessee, sons, James Jordan, of White, William Jordan, of Cumming, Bobby Jordan, of Paulding County, Wayne Jordan, of Adairsville, Ronnie Jordan, of Rockmart, Daniel Jordan, of Rockmart and Daryl Andrew Jordan, of Tennessee and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Martha Sensenbrenner and Nancy Ann Sutton and a son, David Lee Jordan.

Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M. Thursday, May 4, 2011 from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home with Pastor John Waters officiating. Interment will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday.
