Louise Nally Moss

Born August 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Will Doss and Edna Carpenter Doss. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dorsey Nally, grandson, Russ Cowart, great-granddaughter, Ellise Orton and a sister, Sibyl Jordan.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where she sang in the quartet for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family that she cherished so dearly as well as going to church, singing, gardening, cooking and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Brady Moss. Lulu leaves to cherish her memories, two loving daughters, June (Jerry) Orton and Sandy (Steve) Taylor. Her precious grandchildren, Jody (Nicole) Orton, Risa (Randall) Smith, Allison (Patrick) Cooney, Leah (Aaron) Vickroy and her great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Meredith and Jake Orton, Hal, Wil and Lili Womack, Abby and Anna Cooney, Kristen and Zack Cowart, her sister, Martha Kiser along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Orton and Rev. Jerry Cowart officiating.

Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Donald Collum and Rev. Jack Edwards officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randall Smith, Patrick Cooney, Jack Nally, Don Nally, Ronald Nally, Hal Womack, Wil Womack and Zack Cowart.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
