Louise (Maw-Maw) Potts

Mrs. Potts was born April 21, 1925 in Glen St. Mary, Florida, a daughter of the late Charlie R. Williams and Eunice Rigdon Williams. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired restaurant employee. Mrs. Potts loved to fish in her younger years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Hewlett Hall Potts, she is survived by her daughter, Debra Waters, of Cartersville,a stepdaughter, Dorothy Tyler, of Riverdale, her granddaughter, Dana Melton, of Rockmart, great granddaughters, Bridgette Melton and Lindsey Melton, both of Rockmart, a nephew, Carl Lee, of Jacksonville, Florida and a niece, Carlene Wentworth, also of Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 14, 2013, from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Decatur.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carl Lee, Robert Nelson, Ken Stone, Brad Benton, Josh Benton and Bo Carruth.
