Mary Bernadine Myers

Mary Bernadine Myers, age 90 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Townsend Park Health and Rehabilitation. The youngest of four children, Mary was born in Frankfort, Indiana on July 30, 1932 to the late Reverend Harry Allison Shepherd and Verna Opal Rich Shepherd.

In 1950, Mary graduated from Frankfort Pilgrim High School and married Paul Eugene Myers. She was a homemaker and raised two children. Mary was a gifted pianist with the ability to play by ear and was a sought-out accompanist at many churches throughout her life she. When she moved to Townsend Park, she played at the Sunday services for the residents.

Mary is preceded in death by her son, Michael Eugene Myers. She is survived by her daughter, Vanita Jan Myers; granddaughter, Amanda (Joshua) Pahng; and great grandson, Ezra Nolan Pahng.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted in 2023 in her hometown, Frankfort, Indiana. She will be buried near her parents at Green Lawn Cemetery.
