Michael Edward Strow

He is survived by his wife, June Strow; children, Jonathan (Jessica) Strow, Alexandra (Mason) Williams, Thomas (Devyn) Soulsby; grandchildren, Wyatt Strow, Emma Strow, Maddi Soulsby and brother, Jimmy Strow.

Following God’s call, Michael and June moved from West Virigina to Georgia just months after marrying to begin their life long journey. Michael began a career with Wells Fargo Armored and rapidly moved up into management; shortly after he was instrumental in introducing the ATM system into Georgia. After 14 years with the Wells Fargo ATM division, Michael decided to accept the position of Facilities Manager at First Baptist Lithia Springs. During this time, it allowed him to further his education while dedicating his love for the church. While working full time for the church, raising a family, and school full time, Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Shorter in December, 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree.

With this accomplishment, he began a 20-year career as the Asst. Director of Property Management with Presbyterian Village in Austell. He always had a passion to work with Senior Adults and this was a great opportunity. He was known for making the In-house Training meetings fun and informative while ensuring his staff was up-to-date on the loving care for the residents. His smile and upbeat attitude were always a breath of fresh air. He always left people with a smile.

The world is a better place for those who knew and loved Michael. He never met a stranger and was always had an uplifting manner about him. He was a man of God and did his best to be the best Christian, husband, father and friend as was directed by our Lord.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at Cartersville First Baptist Church in the Lottie Moon Chapel on Friday, April 11th at 6:00pm. The church is located at 241 Douthit Ferry Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.
