

Mildred Kathleen Cochran Bozeman, age 77, of Cartersville, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Townsend Park Rehabilitation Center where she had a family of caregivers for over 11 years. She was born in Blairsville, GA on May 31, 1937, a daughter of the late Henry Edward Cochran and Dora Josephine Bivins Cochran. She was a devoted Christian and had a great love of Gospel music. She lived and worked in the Adairsville/Folsom community where she made many friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and love to sing. She played the piano and guitar by ear and loved to embroidery. She was sweet, loving, and caring to anyone she met, and was very devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and friends. Survivors include her children, Johnny Bozeman of White, Gloria (& Chris) Allen of White, Jo (& Kenneth) Taylor of Rydal, and Karen (& Scott) Martin of White; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was the youngest of 8 children. She was preceded in death by Sarrah Francis Cochran, Ted Cochran, Babe (& Dot) Cochran, Felcie ( &Bartow) Stewart and Harbert Cochran. She is survived by two sisters; Ora Lee (& the late Fred) Payne, and Lillian (& the late F. W.) Brumbelow. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Cochran, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Owens Funeral Home from 4pm - 8pm on Friday, March 13, 2015 for family and friends. There will be a private graveside service for the family with Pastor Kyle Coker and Reverend Michael Silvers officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville.
