

She was born March 16, 1914 in Bartow County, the daughter of the late, Cornelia Jenkins Parker and Walter Moore Parker. Miss Parker was the oldest member of White United Methodist Church and retired from teaching school after 39 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joel Parker, sister in law, Mary Parker and brother in law, William Smith.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret Parker Smith, nieces, Judy Kelly (Larry), Elizabeth Lockaby (Raymond), nephews, Alan Smith (Mary), Billy Smith (Lynn) and Joel Parker (Janice) and a number of great nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to remember her caregivers, Colleen Campbell, Tasha Poole and Wendy Campbell-Mayfield.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at White United Methodist Church with Rev. Sanford Willard officiating.
Burial will follow in White Cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Pallbearers are Randy Allen, Chris Allen, Glen Kimbrel, James Huskins, Harris Bagwell and Dean Bagwell.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of White United Methodist Church.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
