Mrs. Stewart was born July 30, 1936 in Dallas, Georgia, daughter of the late Bennie Abruk Thomason and Ora Bell Willingham Thomason. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Edwin Stewart; parents; brothers, Curtis, Talmadge, Curtis Thomason.
Survivors include her children, Sherry Smith (John), Cindy Petroski (Thomas), Vickie Williams, Donna Johnson, Crystal Jacobs (Bruce), Shelia Southern (Bryan); 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Lingerfelt; brother, Gean Thomason; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 PM in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home.
