Opal P. Jarrett

Mrs. Jarrett was born April 28, 1930 in Bartow County, Georgia daughter of the late Ernest Parr and Florence Rogers Parr. She was retired from Goodyear Mills after 40 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cartersville. She enjoyed gardening, attending WMU meetings and the girls in her Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Wanda & larry Ferguson; granddaughter & grandson-in-law, Luli & Bruce Bryan; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, December 26th at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Doug Belisle officiating. Interment will follow.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at Owen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Honorary pallbearers will include the Magnolia Garden Club and WMU of First Baptist Church of Cartersville.
