

She was born on June 29, 1953, in Bartow County, Georgia to parents, Charles and (late) Corrine Simpson.
She was a member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church and was retired from Bartow County Government after almost 23 years. She had a love of flowers and enjoyed working in her flower gardens as well as traveling and the beach. Pam loved her family and friends dearly and cherished every moment with them and could always be counted on to greet them with a glowing smile.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Corrine Simpson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James, daughter Leah Garmon, son Brenton (Rhonda) Garmon, daughter Carey (Tim) Gilley, grandchildren, Easton Garmon, Dawson Kelley, and Oliva Brown, Father Charles Simpson, Sister Rhonda Locklear, niece Kodi (Shanon) McDurmon, nephew Kriston (Jodi) Pezzarossi, great niece Kingsley McDurmon, and great nephews Adler McDurmon, and Braxton and Brayson Pezzarossi.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. The interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville with Easton Garmon, Shanon McDurmon, Kriston Pezzarossi, Tony Miller, David Payne and Wesley Hardin serving as pallbearers.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 5-8pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Owen Funeral Home.
