Phillip Jasper Terry, age 49, of White, Georgia, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Phil was born on August 5, 1971 in East Point, Georgia, to the late George Talmadge and Jerri Ann Terry of Patterson, Georgia. Phil moved to Fayette County with his family when he was a toddler and graduated from Fayette County High School.
In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George Hardy (Doris) Terry; maternal grandparents, Bert (Pauline) Howard; and cousin Jason Howard.
Phil was a family man and devoted every fiber of his being to his family. He provided for them, cared for them, but most of all loved them with his entire soul. He had a strong work ethic, which he displayed throughout his life. Over the last few years, Phil worked hard and established his own company, West Metro Pools. Most of Phil’s clients were not just clients, but became his friends as well. Phil was loved by all and will be missed by many. Most Saturday’s in the fall, if Phil was not working, you could find him in front of the television cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs! He was a devoted fan.
Along with his wife of 25 years, Teresa (Cronan), he is survived by his daughters, Payton, Kendall and Preslee; brother, Greg (Sandi) Terry of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; sister, Missy (Randall) Coppolino of Fayetteville, Georgia; Uncle/Aunt, Lawrence (Wanda) Howard of Patterson, Georgia; cousin, Pam (Mike) Walsh of Canton, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.
