Phyllis Parramore

Mrs. Parramore was born on July 8, 1947 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late Johnny J. Starnes and Leola Cothran Donofrio and her step-father, Joseph Donofrio.

Mrs. Parramore graduated from Cass High School. She was a dedicated Office Manager with State Farm Insurance Company for thirty-years. In her younger years, she enjoyed taking the family boat out to go skiing in south Georgia. Her hobbies included cross-stitching blankets for her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Jerry Dean Parramore.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Misty) Parramore, Shon (Kari) Parramore and Steve Bell; grandchildren, Cody, Lauren, Caleb, Carson, J.D and Hollis Parramore, Katie Wade, Brittany Bell and Ashley Praytor; three, great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Dalana) Donofrio; sisters, Jenny (Rodney) Pope, Patsy ( J.L.) Duncan, Teresa (John) LeMay and Angela (Hugh) McClain.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 17th of January, 2017 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Rodney Pope, Jonathan Pope, Michael Duncan, Eric Boatner, Shane Knox and Cody Parramore.

Honorary pallbearers are Caleb, Carson, J.D. and Hollis Parramore.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o'clock in the afternoon until eight on Monday, the 16th of January, 2017 at Owen Funeral Home.
