Robert M. Dunton

Mr. Dunton was born May 2, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late, Raymond M. and Nellie (Cagle) Dunton, was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a member of Mableton Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeannette Hopwood.

Surviving is his wife, Linda Siniard-Dunton of Marietta, children, Kimberly and Randy Bryant of Cartersville, Marie and Steve Evans of Dallas, grandchildren, special grandson, Remington Bryant, special granddaughter, Jessica Massey Posey and her husband Scott, Stephanie Taylor and her husband Matt, Julia Gulley and her husband Curtis, four great grandchildren and his beloved pet, Scotty.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 27 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Carlos Fletcher and Larry Bradley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Glass, Bill McKoon, Deemus Bryant, Larry Bradley, Sonny Lovingood and Eddie Simms.

Honorary pallbearers will be Remington Bryant and Scott Posey.
