Shelba Jean Chastain

Born on October 18, 1940 in Cartersville, GA, Shelba was the daughter of the late Joseph E. Bradley and Dorothy Ross Bradley.

She was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud member of the Baptist Faith. She was an avid antique collector and dealer for many years, and a life-long gardner who loved her daylilies and orchids.

Shelba is preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Thomas F. Chastain; sons, Timothy Chastain and Paul Chastain; sister, Jo Morrow.

Survivors include her loving daughters, Yvonne (Bobby) Chastain Holmes, Karla Chastain Wooton; grandchildren, Morgan (Brian) Duffy, Mason (Elizabeth) Holmes, Ronnie Chastain, Makenzie Holmes, Dylan Sanborn; brother, Gary Bradley; several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday the 25th of November, 2022 at Center Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Chastain, Mason Holmes, Brian Duffy, Dylan Sanborn, Jeff Bradley, Kyle Bradley, Johnny Holden, Johnathan Holden, Clint Edwards and Russell Edwards.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the service hour at the church.
