We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Shelia Mann Sabens.  I enjoyed the brief time we had together and she always was so kind and welcoming to me.  She had a beautiful smile and made you feel like you were part of your family.  Her warmth and kindness touched everyone around her.  Lifting up prayers for your family and praying for the comfort and peace of God during this difficult time.

I’m so sorry to hear of Shelia’s passing.  She was a delight  to  work with.  Praying for the family as you grieve this tremendous loss.

My heartfelt prayers and condolences for Mike and all of the family!!   Many many years we spent working and supporting each other and I’m so blessed that I had this sweet lady as my friend and confidant!  We shared so many first things as moms and grandmoms!  Children going to college.  First or only children  to get married, all the years in between and then becoming a grandparent!  I am so blessed to have been a part of her life for so many years!!  Shelia had a strength about her that inspired me!  To say I’m saddened is an understatement!   My heart is just broken!! 😞

Shelia was such a light in mine and many others' world. Her kind spirit will truly be missed ❤️

I worked with Shelia at the Credit Union; she was always so kind.  I never met her family but she had so much love for them & enjoyed spending time with her husband & 2 granddaughters.  She will be missed dearly by friends & family.

I worked with Shelia at LGE Credit Union. Shelia was such a sweet and beautiful person who always spread positive vibes wherever she went.  Everyone who knew Shelia at the Credit Union loved and respected her, as she was nice to everyone that she came across. I will miss her dearly.  She always gave me a hug whenever I saw her during the workday in the building.  To her family, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. I wish you all strength during this difficult time and I will be remembering you all in my prayers.  She was an Angel, and God wanted her back home.  Shelia will always be remembered as the sweet soul that made every interaction with everyone unforgettable.

To know Sheila was to love her. Her smile was absolutely contagious—so much so that you could even hear it when talking on the phone. She radiated warmth, humility, and gratitude, and those qualities made every conversation with her feel like a gift. We often talked about how thankful we were for the simple things in life, and it was clear that Sheila truly lived with a heart full of appreciation.

Sheila adored her family beyond words. Her husband Mike was the love of her life, and she spoke of him with such joy and devotion. She was incredibly proud of her son and daughter in law and all their accomplishments, but nothing lit her up quite like her two granddaughters. She loved sharing stories about their giggles, their adventures, and the special moments she and Mike created with them. She was always about making memories that would last a lifetime.

One of my favorite things about Sheila was our fall conversations about college football. Even though she was a proud Tennessee Volunteer fan and I cheer for the UGA Bulldogs, we always found joy in our connection and love of the game.

Sheila touched so many lives with her kindness, laughter, and genuine spirit. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.  

My thoughts and prayers are with her beloved family and friends during this difficult time.

Sheila and I served together at church every week. She loved Jesus so much and it showed the way she lived her life. She greeted people with the warmest smile and people genuinely loved being around her. Our serve team will miss her so much but we have the hope of knowing we will see her again. I take comfort in knowing she is in the presence of King Jesus! To her family that she adored, I pray you feel God’s comfort and peace. I know Sheila would want you to remember that He is with you.

I worked with Shelia for 33+ years at the credit union. We talked of decorating her home and earlier at our former location,  her office. She knew I did that for others as a side job and she would often ask my thoughts on her selections. She gave every creative idea great thought and consideration and loved the process.  This past year we talked about each of our plans post retirement.
Shelia was always bubbly and happy to see you. She was always full of gratitude which is what I will always remember most.

Shelia was my supervisor for several years when I worked at LGE. She was a wonderful, caring, genuine and kind person! I can honestly say that she was the best supervisor I ever had! My condolences to her family, whom she absolutely adored. She will truly be missed.🙏

I will forever miss my very best friend and sis in law. So thankful we had practically our whole lives to share.  Our talks that sometimes went on for hours at a time meant everything to me. I will love and miss you always.❤️

Shelia was a dear friend and coworker.  We had so many conversations on her way home in the afternoons.  After she was diagnosed and began cooking healthier Shelia kept trying to convince me to try her pumpkin chili(I think it was pumpkin, it sounded so bad ) and she would laugh when I told her that it sounded awful.  It was a standing joke between us two.  She would always threaten to bring me chili and I would always say I think I will pass.  To the Sabens family I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with y’all. The world won’t seem the same knowing she is not walking on earth with us but I know she is walking with God now.  Love you Shelia.
