Surrounded by loved ones she passed from this life to the next after a brief unexpected illness. She was a devoted homemaker and a loving mother.
She was born on May 18, 1955, bringing with her joy and a selfless spirit to Creola Scarbro O'Dell and Joseph O'Dell Charleston, West Virginia. She was the feisty sister to four brothers and four sisters: Beverly, David, Debbie, Evelyn, Gary, Jerry, LeAnn, and Tracy.
Sherry was a loving homemaker, married to Tommy Hatfield in the 1980's, called Illinois their home; and eventually relocated to Georgia to reunite with family members.
Sherry always shined her brightest when she was helping others. She showed her love and devotion through her actions as she always remembered birthdays and anniversaries and enjoyed celebrating the accomplishments of others.
Her legacy of selfless love will live on to all left behind as a lesson—love is not just a feeling but is every bit of action.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Tommy Hatfield; her sisters Beverly, Evelyn, and LeAnn; her brothers, Gary and Jerry as well as her children: Autumn Rosengren (Erik), Candice Morris (Steven), Christopher Hatfield, Joseph Perdieu (Amber), Justin Hatfield, Kelly Harris (Jeff), TJ Hatfield, and Tommy Lee Hatfield; plus, eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
You are loved and will be missed by all. We pray for each other now, as we all learn to live without your light.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home, 630 Locust St, Bristol, TN 37620.
