Shirley Mullinax Hobgood

Shirley Mullinax Hobgood, age 79 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was born on October 16, 1941 in Cartersville, GA to the late Clarence Mullinax and Idalene Westbrooks Mullinax.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Ross Hobgood; brothers, Larry Mullinax, J.C. Mullinax, Gary Mullinax; sisters, Grace Cowart, Virginia Guyton and Barbara Sue Mullinax.

She is survived by her three children, Renee' (Darrell) Noble, Jimmy (Leah) Hobgood, and Tracy (Bill) Woods; grandchildren, Sam (Jahna) Hobgood, Chloe Hobgood, Claire (Austin) Hecht, Jacob Woods; great-grandson, Walker Ross Hobgood; sisters, Nell Warren, Carolynn (JC) Waters; brother, Jerol (Jerrie) Mullinax; sister-in-law Carolynn Wheeler; brother-in-law, Larry (Marilynn) Hobgood

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery with family and friends sharing eulogies and fond memories of Shirley.
