

She was born on May 17, 1933, to the late Jonas and Lila Moore of Cave Spring. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; a son, Dennis Teems; two grandchildren, Chris Williams and Ricky Davis. Her surviving children are Wanda and Tony Williams, Douglas Teems, Phyllis Teems, Pam and Ricky Davis, Renee and Randy Dunn; grandchildren, Vernon and Vickie Teems, Daphne Teems, Gabriel Teems, Tabitha and Jacob Page, Lacey and James Cox, Nathaniel and Brandy Wilkie; great-grandchildren, Logan and Carson Teems, Spencer and Issac Cox, Demitrious Parson, Brooke and Trenton Page, Lyla McGlone, Kayden Cox, Palzlie Wilkie; sister, Cleo Johnson of Loganville; and a special Niece Edna Clem of Boaz, Ala.
Shirley Teems was a loving and giving individual whose unselfish act was evident by her donation of a kidney to a boy she didn't know. She never met a stranger, loved gardening, fishing and the outdoors. Shirley worked in the family business where she was known as the heart of the business, not only being part owner, but also doing the daily administrative tasks involved in running a successful business.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 25, from noon until service time at 1 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Hogan from Cartersville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses officiating
