Mrs. Kennedy was born on November 30, 1927 in Kennesaw, GA, daughter of the late Henry Gaines and Lyda Riggins Gaines.
Mrs. Kennedy was a dedicated Branch Manager with Wells Fargo in Cartersville for 35 years. She was a proud and active member of Cassville Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Barnett Gaines.
Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Ray Kennedy; son, Robert Kennedy; brother, Bill Gaines (Myra); grandchildren, Katherine Wallraven (Brian) and Andrew Kennedy; nephew, William Gaines.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, June 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.
