Sylvia Holcomb Bearden

Mrs. Bearden was born February 12, 1941, in Clarksville, Georgia the daughter of the late, Sylvia and Ellie Mae (Tyler) Holcomb, was a homemaker, a member of the NORWEGA RV Club and a member of Adairsville Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Charles Rogers, three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving is her husband, Leon Bearden of Cartersville, children, Tony Rogers (Fredda) of Cartersville, Chad Bearden (Kristin) of Jacksonville, Florida, Jonathan Rogers (Patti) of Cartersville, Amy LaBoy (Albert) of Dalton, Kari Carter (C.J.) of Cartersville, eight grandchildren, two sisters, Stella Gragg (Tom) of Hollywood, Georgia, Jamie Rose (Harry) of Zellwood, Florida, brother, Ray Holcomb (Beverly) of Baldwin, Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Adairsville Church of God with Pastor Ken Coomer and Albert LaBoy officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
