Thomas Edward (Eddie) McDaniel

Thomas Edward “Eddie” McDaniel, age 84 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was born in Cartersville, GA on April 2, 1941, to Robert Ed (RE) McDaniel and Annie Bell (Babe)Hines McDaniel.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ed and Babe McDaniel; His first wife Gwenda Mundy McDaniel; Son Anthony Edward (Andy)McDaniel. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley McDaniel, daughters, Angela (Angie) Y. McDaniel; Sheila (Jeremy)Towe, son, Anthony (Tony)(Crystal) Miller; grandchildren, Ashley Meadors, Autumn (Bug) Baker, Anna Grace Collins, Jacob Cline, Kyle Miller, Brianna (Dewey) Dunnaway, Catie (Jeremy)Jacobs, DJ(Petra) Towe, Jordan Towe, Susan Gwen McDaniel, Scott-Anthony Edward McDaniel; sisters Suzy (Jerry) Millwood, Jan (Harold) Hough, 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. David Cornett officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with Jacob Cline, Bug Baker, Kyle Miller, DJ Towe, Matthew Chapman, Mitchell Chapman serving as pallbearers, honorary pallbearers Jordan Towe and Jeremy Jacobs.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
