Amy Mills Webb

Amy Mills Webb, 91, died Sunday, January 20, 2013. She was born in Mackeys Ferry, NC on October 19, 1921 to Jarvis and Lila Mills. Amy was a caring and dedicated wife and mother who always put others first. She was a thoughtful, prayerful woman of great faith. She was very involved in Cary Tennis Leagues. She won multiple medals and trophies for tennis during the Senior Olympics.

She is survived by her children, Benny McLawhorn of Raleigh, Jack Webb Jr. and wife, Tina, of Raleigh, Amy Webb Sherwood and husband, Frank, of Portland, OR, and Jane Webb Kennedy of Raleigh. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Webb Sr.; son, William Ansel Webb; and great granddaughter, Ella Cate Dees.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
