Born in Greensboro, NC, Brad was a proud Tar Heel who attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and played on the junior varsity basketball team. He carried his school pride throughout his life and built lasting friendships through his college years.
Brad’s professional life reflected the same intellect and focus he brought to everything he did. With a sharp, analytic mind, he worked successfully as a consultant in financial software—earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
A devoted husband, son, brother, and friend, Brad was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, quick wit, and adventurous nature. He found joy in the outdoors, whether hunting in the early morning woods, traveling to new destinations, or boating and fishing with family and friends along the Carolina coast. His favorite days were spent on the beach, sharing laughter and memories with the people he loved most.
Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Margot; his parents, Will and Mary Lewe Jones; his brother, Josh Jones; and his cherished goldendoodle, Axton. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Beth Horgan; brothers-in-law Michael, Benjamin, and Maxwell; sisters-in-law Stefanie and Regan; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will deeply miss his presence.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Frances Jones, and Bill and Jean Lewe; his Uncle Billy Lewe; his cousin Jennifer Page; his Uncle Jeff Boucher; and his father-in-law, Michael Horgan.
Brad’s life was a beautiful mix of intellect, humor, heart, and adventure. He lived fully and gave freely—to his work, to his passions, and most of all, to his people.
Bradley's funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church, located at 804 High House Rd, Cary, NC 27513. A reception will immediately follow the church service, where all are invited to gather and celebrate the life of Bradley.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brad’s memory can be made to the North Carolina Wildlife Federation at www.ncwf.org, supporting the natural world he so deeply loved.
