Brittany Carole Poole Parker

Brittany Poole Parker, age 36, of Cary, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. Brittany was born in Durham, North Carolina, on August 27, 1988, to her parents, Kimberly Nester and Thomas Poole.

Brittany was married to Steven Parker during her earlier years. She later started her most rewarding career as a mother to her 9-year-old son, Lincoln. He was her passion and the light of her life. She also enjoyed fishing, being near the ocean, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and loved all animals. Brittany will be missed by so many, but most of all by Lincoln. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, William Dawes of Cary, NC, and Grace Carroll of Virginia.

Brittany is survived by her amazing son, Lincoln Rulon Oakley; mother, Kimberly, and stepfather, Darwin Nester of Simpsonville, SC; father, Thomas Poole of Fuquay-Varina, NC; sister, Stephanie and brother-in-law, Devaughn Waldrup of Raleigh, NC; brother, Marty Poole of Fuquay-Varina, NC; grandmother, Frances Dawes of Cary, NC; uncle, Duane Dawes and aunt, Debbie of Myrtle Beach, SC; Alex Poole of Morrisville, NC; Sarah Waldrup of Raleigh, NC; and Barham Poole of Fuquay-Varina, NC.

The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life to honor Brittany's life. The celebration of life is for immediate family or by invitation only.
