

Carl was the dearest husband of 56 years to Grace Nardulli Regutti. In addition to Grace, he is survived by his children, Mari (Dan) Blackburn, Carl (Toni) Regutti Jr., Diane (Andy) Keil, and Dorette (Mark) Arbogast; brother, Robert (Carole) Regutti; grandchildren, Michael (Amber) Blackburn, Amanda Blackburn, Heather (JD) Blackburn Cominsky, Nikkole (Bryce) Logan, Rochelle Regutti, Joshua Regutti, Kailin Regutti, Drew Keil, Bryan Keil, Ryan Arbogast, Shannon Arbogast, Sarah Arbogast; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl received his BS and MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He had three patents during his business career. He later became a sculptor. His most notable sculptures are Aristides at Church Hill Downs, KY, and Mare and Foal in Alpharetta, GA. His NC sculptures include: General Joseph E. Johnston in Bentonville, Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Raleigh, and others at Asheville Mall, NC Zoo and in Cary. There are permanent collections in museums at Franklin Mint and Kentucky Derby.
Carl had many interests and never met a person he couldn’t talk to for at least 20 minutes. He will be missed for his enthusiasm and kindness.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 8:30 p.m. on May 2, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 noon May 3, 2013 at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Road, Cary, NC 27513.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Carl be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of choice.
