Catherine Rebecca Ellis

Brilliant and endlessly curious, Catherine lived a life defined by adventure, compassion, and a deep love of exploration. A graduate of Lehigh University, she worked extensively in the field of biomedical engineering and, in her free time, traveled throughout Europe and the Far East, recently continuing her journeys into South America. An amateur equestrian, she also volunteered on horse farms, as she found great joy in caring for animals.

A resident of Cary, NC for the past year, Catherine will be remembered for her sharp mind, adventurous spirit, and the warmth she shared with all who knew her. She is survived by her father Jim Ellis, older brother James, and her extended family, all of whom miss her greatly. A wake will be held on May 12th ,10:00am-11:00am at:

A private family interment will occur after the service.
