Cynthia Gross

Cynthia was born October 26, 1940 in Durham, NC to the late Charles Honeycutt and Mamie Brock Honeycutt. She was a graduate of Hamlet High School and was employed with E.F. Craven Equipment for over 20 years. Cynthia was a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Wilmington, NC.

Cynthia is survived by her sons, Michael Gross and his wife, Susan of Leland, NC; and Tommy Gross and his wife Kristy of Cary; daughter, Traci Sasser of Raleigh; brother, Charles Honeycutt and his wife, Peggy of Hamlet; sisters, Tanny Vaughn of Clayton; and Sybil Stanton of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Joseph; Michael; Kristopher; Brooke; and Cody; and great grandchild, Halen.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
