He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Ferrell; children, Terri (Jeff) O’Bannon, Todd Ferrell, David (Deborah) Ferrell and Jill (Phillip) Baker; grandchildren, Lindsey (Travis) Kinney, Ashley O’Bannon, Shelby Ferrell and Nate Ferrell; and brother, Kenneth Ferrell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Scott Ferrell and brother, Cecil Jackson Ferrell Jr.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Colonial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Dennis may be made to the Colonial Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
