Doris Lee Martin

Doris Lee (Sprinkle) Martin, was the daughter of the late Hugh Paul Sprinkle and Ida Bell (Adams) Sprinkle. Along with her parents, Doris was predeased by three of her siblings; Betty Patterson, Marjorie Lackey and Conrad Sprinkle as well as her daughter-in-law, Sara Martin.

Doris is survived by her husband of 75 years, Jay D. Martin. Her son's, Jeffrey D. Martin of Holly Springs, NC and Kevin Martin of Zebulon, NC and her daughter, Karen Martin Wood (husband Dan) of Stuart, VA. Grandchildren; Carl (wife Megan) Martin, Evan Martin, Travis Martin, Benjamin Christensen (husband Sebastian), Victoria Wood Migliore (husband Sal). Two great grandchildren, Hudson Martin and Lee Migliore.

Doris was a long time resident of Cary, and started her own childcare business. She helped to take care of many children that lived in the area while their parents were at work.

The family will be receiving friends on December 1, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church, a Celebration of Life will be at 4:00 pm and an inurnment of Doris's ashes will follow at the church columbarium.
