Dorothy May Koch Jones

Dotty is survived by her husband of 57 years, James G. Jones; son, Doug Jones, of Raleigh; daughter, Pam White, of Apex; grandchildren, Derrick Jones and wife Katie, Travis Jones, and Kyle Jones, all of Cary, and Chris White and Kim Royal and husband Tim, all of Apex; sisters, Ajji Bushman and husband Bob, of St. Petersburg, FL, Elizabeth Thompson, of Irving, TX and Joan Ludwig, of Elka Park, NY; sister-in-law, Barbara Munz, of Annapolis, MD; special friends, Jack and Joan Phillips, of Simpsonville, SC; and by several nieces and nephews.

Dotty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed giving much more than receiving. Her love for the Lord shone to all those who knew her.

The family wishes to thank everyone at Hospice of Wake County and the Cancer Centers of NC for her care.

Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Road) and other times at the daughter's home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 2 PM at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Apex Cemetery.

Flowers are certainly welcomed; however, memorials may be made to the Hospice House of Wake County – 250 Hospice Circle – Raleigh, NC 27607.
