Betty was born on June 23, 1931, in East Orange, New Jersey. In 1977, she and her husband, along with their son and daughter, moved from Pompton Plains, New Jersey, to Cary, North Carolina. The family often recalled the memorable day they made the journey south—leaving New Jersey in falling snow and arriving later that afternoon in Cary to a beautiful, sunny 70-degree day, a moment that symbolized the beginning of a new chapter for their family.
Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured time spent with her family. She had a warm spirit and a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Her kindness, steady presence, and love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” C. Noble.
Betty is survived by her son, John (Rebecca) Noble of Raleigh, North Carolina; her daughter, Barbara (Jeff) Curtis of Ivanhoe, Virginia; and three granddaughters, Sidney Flynt (Matt) of Browns Summit, North Carolina, Kaylee Noble of Cary, North Carolina, and Kerrie Noble of Raleigh, North Carolina. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Lucas, who brought her great joy.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate care Betty received from the staff at Glenaire Retirement Community and Transitions LifeCare of Raleigh.
Services will be held privately for the family.
In memory of Betty, the family kindly asks that donations be made to your favorite charity.
