Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Ann Enes Vasques

Elizabeth “Betty Ann” (Enes) Vasques of Raleigh, NC, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2021 after a brief illness. Betty Ann was born March 28, 1933, in Hartford, CT, to the late William H. and Elsie (Harlow) Enes. She was a graduate of Ellsworth Memorial High School in South Windsor CT.

On October 23, 1954 she married the love of her life, Dominick Joseph Vasques and they had just celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary before his passing on October 27, 2016. They spent many years living in Connecticut before relocating to Barre, Vermont and then to North Carolina where they could be closer to family, with which they cherished spending time. She is survived by sons Stephen and wife Marie (Swales) Vasques of Cary, Christopher Vasques and wife Fran Hughes of Apex, Daniel and wife Kathy (Blodgett) Vasques of California, daughter, Elizabeth (Lisa) Vasques of Raleigh and daughter-in-law Joanne Vasques of Manchester, CT. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty Ann was preceded in death by her husband Dominick and son Michael Dominick Vasques.

We take great comfort in knowing that she joined Dad in Heaven in time for them to celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary. A private family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date followed by a celebration of her life that all are welcome to attend.
