

Ethel Conard Gorsuch, 92, of Holly Springs, NC passed away on June 2, 2013. She was born in Bloomington, IN on October 11, 1920 to John and Lena Rose Conard. Ethel graduated in 1943 from Indiana University with a BS in Home Economics. She was a homemaker by profession. She lived between her summer home in Cape Cod “which was never a burden” and winter home in Malvern, PA until moving to Holly Springs in 1999 to be closer to her family. She loved animals and especially enjoyed bird watching. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was a lifetime member of Berwyn Garden Club in PA.
She is survived by her sons, David B. Gorsuch and wife, Deborah, of Apex, NC and Scott D. Gorsuch and wife, Sherry, of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Allison B. Gorsuch, Aaron D. Gorsuch, Ashley M. Brockette and Amanda M. Baros; great grandchildren, Hunter Lee Baros and Parker Lee Baros; and sisters, Betsy and Gertrude.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul D. Gorsuch, and 4 siblings.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
