Jetta Faith Roberts Heaton was born May 5, 1926 in Quinlan, Oklahoma; the daughter of the late Ira Roberts and Mabel Forsythe Roberts. She was raised in a Christian home with two sisters and three brothers. She married her high school sweetheart, Ray Heaton, when she was 17 and he was in army boot camp about to enter WWII.
God blessed Faith and Ray with two children, Kermit Dwain Heaton and Mary Kathrine Heaton Holt. Ray passed away in 1995. Faith maintained their cattle farm with help from Christian neighbors for 10 years. Faith loved her church and brothers and sisters in Hiattville, Kansas. In 2005, at the age of 79, Faith sold her farm and relocated to Holly Springs, NC to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
Jetta Faith, at the age of 98, passed into her eternal reward on June 15, 2024. Faith died peacefully in her home in Holly Springs, NC, where she lived for the past 19 years. As her family and many friends can testify, Faith loved Jesus. Faith’s love for Jesus, generosity, and sweet spirit was always a blessing. Faith was a prayer warrior for her family.
She is survived by her daughter: Mary Heaton Holt and husband Tom Holt; son: Kermit Dwain Heaton and wife Tommie Heaton; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren: Jason and Ashlie Holt (their children: Sam and Ethan), Danny and Robin Holt (their children: Ava, Jack and Nick), Nancy and Bobby Jurgens (their children: Taylor, Lawson, Dara and Dalton), Jill Heaton, Randy and Tu Heaton (their child: Dagney) and Ginger Grasley (her children: Parker and Ryder); and other extended family and friends.
