Francesca "Frances" Reina

Frances Salemi Reina passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 at the age of 98. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch whose life was defined by love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Roseann Rizzi (Frank); her grandchildren: Gerald Gallo (Shannon), Matthew Gallo (Samantha), Michael West (Tamara), Danielle Carley, Matthew West, Philip Rizzi (Jeanne), Gregory Rizzi (Sara), Francesca Haynes (Steve); her great-grandchildren: Meghan King (Ryan), Allison Shaikh (Garrett), Corey Gallo, Kaeden West, Greyson West, Andrew Carley, Caleb Carley, John Rizzi, Patton Rizzi, Charlie Rizzi, Julien Rizzi, Sebastian Rizzi, Louisa Rizzi; and her great-great-grandchildren: Austen King, Weston King, Garrett Shaikh, each of whom she cherished deeply.

Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis Reina, and her daughters Frances Gallo and Carolyn West.

Though she endured loss, her strength and love remained constant, and she continued to be a source of warmth and guidance for her family.

Family meant everything to Frances. Her warmth, wisdom, and strength were the heart of every gathering, and her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and inspired.

Her family takes solace in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones who passed before her, and they will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

There will be a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 625 Magdala Pl., Apex, NC, 27502. Frances will then be buried in NY next to her husband and other family.
