Gene Muth

Gene was born in Galion, Ohio on May 30, 1936, the son of Harold D. and Mary Jeanette (Conaway) Muth. He was employed for many years with North Electric in Galion and Kenton, OH, ITT North in Johnson City, TN, ITT/Alcatel in Raleigh, NC, ITT in Fort Wayne, IN, Kroger in Cary, NC, and most recently Kelly Window and Door. Gene was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Apex, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by infant son, Jeffrey Allan Muth. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ruth C. (Kempf) Muth; son, Gregory Muth of Johnson City; daughters, LeAnn (Michael) Reed of Raleigh and Valerie (Mike) Kelly of Cary; grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, and Kayla Kelly; and sister, Mary Ann (Don) Heimlich of Galion.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Apex, NC. Family will receive friends from 10:15-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
