Jacqueline Ann Greene

Jacqueline A. Greene (nee Neill) 74 of Cary, N.C. died March 8, 2024 at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh after a short illness. Jackie was born in Marlborough, Ma. on May 29, 1949 to Lorraine K. Neill and Earl G. Neill. She was the wife of the late Donald K. Greene who left us in 2013.

Jackie loved her many friends from numerous activities which included RVing with her late husband, Don in their motor coach, traveling to NASCAR events and the N.C. mountains. She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots football team and loved her French bulldogs and Pugs.

She graduated from Marlborough, Ma High School class of 1967, UMASS Amherst, Ma, class of 1971 in Zoology, and from Clark University, Worcester, Ma class of 1974, Masters in biology. Jackie moved to Midland, Michigan in 1979 where she found the love of her life , Donald Greene. They both moved to Cary, N.C., in 1986 where they were close to family and built life lasting friendships.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Patricia Grigg, her husband Robert and their son John of Lawndale, N.C., sister in-law, Frances McCarter and husband, Glenn, of Huntersville, N.C; Brother, David G. Neill of South Hamilton, Ma. and brother, Brian E. Neill, his wife Melissa A. Neill , of Hudson, Ma. She also leaves 5 nephews, and 2 nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, with a time of receiving friends will follow.
