James Edwin Pace Sr.

James was a loving husband for 63 years to the late Virginia Pace. He is survived by three sons, Jim Pace (Jane) of Pensacola, Fl, Mike Pace (Martha) of Charlotte, NC and David Pace (Arlene) of Zebulon, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ben, Jennifer and Rebecca.

James was a proud American who served with honor during World War II with the 754th Tank Battalion. He was field commissioned to Second Lieutenant. He was also an active member of the First Baptist Church of Cary and the Parham-Dry Sunday School Class.

Services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 3:00 pm from First Baptist Church of Cary, 218 South Academy Street, Cary, NC. Burial will immediately follow in Raleigh Memorial Park.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Rd, Cary, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James’ name to: First Baptist Church of Cary Parham-Dry Sunday School Class at 218 South Academy Street, Cary, NC 27511.
