“Jim” was born on October 19, 1951 in Philippi, WV. He was the son of the late Frederick Victor “Fred” and Lois Genevieve “Gen” Trahern. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cecelia Sue Snyder and husband, Merritt of Buckhannon, WV.
Surviving “Jim” is his wife, Kathy of 43 years. Also surviving is his father-in-law, Tom Dunnington; brother-in-law, Bob Dunnington; sister-in-law, Regina Dunnington of Cleveland, Ohio; step-brother, Michael Maxson of Hurricane, WV; step-sister, Christie Maxson of St. Albans, WV; nephews, Johnny B. Snyder and wife, Sonja of Buckhannon, WV, Justin Cronin and wife, Ashley of Willoughby, OH, Joseph Dunnington of Parma, OH; niece, Lois S. White and husband, Greg of Buckhannon, WV; great nephews, Jay, Robby, Bryan and wife, Saleena, Trahern, Zachary and Hayden; great nieces, Riley and Oakleigh; grand-godchildren, Grant and Madison Schola of Philippi, WV.
“Jim” was a third generation plumber and owner of TTT Plumbing, Inc. of Cary, NC. He loved trout fishing in the mountains of NC and WV. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed by everyone.
At “Jim’s” request he will be cremated without service and his ashes will be scattered at a later time.
