Jeffrey Scott Eskew

Jeff was born December 5, 1981 in Nashville, TN, a son of George Eskew, Jr. and Sandra Greene Eskew of Cary, NC. At the age of 12, his family moved to Cary, NC.

Jeff graduated from Athens Drive High School and attended East Carolina University.

From a young age, Jeff showed a strong interest in the culinary arts. He began as a cook and worked his way up to a managerial role in the popular local restaurant, My Way Tavern. His work family became Jeff’s home away from home, and those feelings were reciprocated as Jeff was loved by so many. He was an avid football fan, especially of the Tennessee Titans, loved to play golf, and had an incredible knack for inventing new recipes in the kitchen. All of those close to him will sorely miss his infectious laugh and smile. Jeff was a loyal friend, brother, and son.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Linzey and Helen Greene of Ashland, KY and Edith and George Eskew, Sr. of Ashland, KY.

Jeff is survived by his parents George and Sandy Eskew of Cary, NC; his brother, Ryan Eskew and sister-in-law Larkin Eskew of Savannah, GA; and many loving friends and relatives.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 27, at Brown-Wynne Funeral 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary. Visitation will be Monday evening, September 26 from 5pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
