Jinhwa Jeong

Jinhwa was born on March 28, 1977, in Korea, to Unjio Jeong and Oknam Lee. She was a classically trained concert pianist and worked in the financial industry after obtaining her accounting degree at Case Western Reserve University. She was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed skiing, water skiing, hiking, cycling, and traveling. Through her business, Delightful Fare, and in her spare time, she loved to cook and to share her food as she shared her love. Despite her illness, she always chose to see all the good things life had to offer, and while she needed help, she was quick to offer help to others who needed more.

In addition to her parents, Jinhwa is survived by her husband, Harrison Kim; her son, Noah Kim; her parents in law, Moses & Theresa Awe; brothers & sisters in law, Matthew Kim, Jennifer Kim, Moses J Awe, Jamie Awe & Solomon Awe; and her nephew & niece, Samuel & Grace Kim.

A memorial service will be held on January 6, 2016 at 1 PM at Cary Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
