He is survived by his wife, Eloise Sheats; daughter, Mandy Frazier and husband, Brad; son, Dan Sheats and wife, Crystal; granddaughter, Molly Ann Sheats; brothers, Roger Sheats and wife, Frances, Richard Sheats and wife, Susan, and John Neal and wife, Patricia; his beloved and constant companion, Freddie, his dog. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Macedonia United Methodist Church, 2700 Jones Franklin Road, Cary, NC 27518, from 11:00-11:45 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311, Macedonia United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
