Mateo, a beloved Son brother and friend who will be missed by so many. He was a member of Triangle Rock Club, Mateo had a strong love for scuba diving, gaming , travel and hanging with his friends. He always had a special love for animals, whether on land or in the water. Animals were just drawn to him and that speaks volumes to the kind of person he was.
Survived by father Gabriel Fortes, Mom Virginia Jordan, and sister Gabriela Fortes-Jordan and his beloved reptile, Vortex.
A visitation for Joshua will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, North Carolina, followed by a celebration of life at 7:00 PM.
